From growing up as a performer to working in some of Los Angeles’ top recording studios, Sydney Wolfe is a multi-faceted creative, engineer, and songwriter. With a repertoire that spans within all aspects of the industry, Wolfe is dedicated towards working with individuals to capture their true vision.
Wolfe was always accustomed to music. Growing up on artists like The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, she decided to take up her own musical ambitions. Singing at talent competitions and learning piano at the age of ten, she began to branch out into the songwriter world. At the age of 16, she wrote music for the indie film, “The View From Here.” Taking quickly to the studio scene, Wolfe began to learn alongside Kevin Tye at Albion Sound Studio in Arizona. After releasing her own music, she later decided to pursue audio engineering. Wolfe attended The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where she graduated top of her class. After, she moved to Los Angeles to follow her career.
Spending time in LA, Wolfe began learning under Wil Anspach, and she later became his permanent assistant. Here, she attended studio sessions, organized files, prepped Pro Tools sessions, maintained calendars, and micromanaged interns.
After, Wolfe started to branch out into her own. She learned under Tom Weir at Studio City Sound, where she engineered hip-hop and podcast sessions. Soon after, Wolfe became a studio manager at Paramount Recording Studios.
She was later offered an opportunity to work for Ty Dolla $ign, as his personal assistant. After completing her time within the management world, Wolfe decided to focus on her engineering and became a freelance engineer and songwriter. Now, she lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she networks and works with various clients.
